At Sri Sharadamba Spices, every product we manufacture begins with one non-negotiable standard: the raw material must be right. We source directly from Andhra Pradesh’s agricultural belt — the same region that supplies spice markets across India and the world. From there, our in-house processing facility in Guntur takes over — cleaning, drying, grinding, testing, and packing every batch under strict hygiene and quality control protocols.
From coarser textures preferred for certain masala applications to superfine powder for food processing lines.
Pungency level can be adjusted through raw material selection across high, medium, and mild grades.
Moisture levels can be adjusted within safe processing limits to meet buyer-specified shelf life or application requirements.
From 50 kg bulk bags to smaller redistribution packs — packaging format is flexible.
Products can be supplied under your brand with your label artwork.
Packaging design aligned to your brand specifications, subject to pack format compatibility.
Guntur is to red chillies what Darjeeling is to tea. The district produces some of the world’s most prized dry red chilly varieties — known globally for their intense color, high pungency, and powerful oleoresin content. Sri Sharadamba Spices is based here. Our raw material comes from these farms. That is not a small thing — it is the core of what makes our chilly powder different.
Raw Material We source dry red chillies from Guntur’s established chilly-growing zones. Raw lots are inspected on arrival for color grade, moisture content, and physical quality. Below-standard material is rejected before it enters our processing line. We work with varieties selected for high ASTA color value and strong natural aroma — the parameters that matter most to food manufacturers, masala producers, and wholesale buyers.
Processing After inspection, chillies go through a cleaning stage to remove stems, dust, and foreign matter. They are then dried to the appropriate moisture level before grinding. Grinding is done using calibrated machinery that allows us to control fineness — from coarse grind to fine powder — depending on buyer specification. Temperature during grinding is managed to prevent aroma loss.
Turmeric is one of the most commercially important spices in the Indian and global market — demanded by food manufacturers, pharmaceutical processors, ayurvedic product makers, and the entire masala blending industry. The key quality parameter that drives value in turmeric is curcumin content — and that is exactly where our sourcing and processing focus lies.
Raw Material We source turmeric sticks (raw, dried turmeric rhizomes) from high-quality growing regions, selected specifically for their curcumin content and deep golden pigmentation. Raw turmeric is inspected for moisture, color depth, and freedom from mold or damage before being accepted into our processing line. We do not blend high-grade and low-grade lots — quality is consistent from the start.
Processing Turmeric sticks are cleaned and dried to the correct moisture specification. Polishing is done to remove surface impurities. The sticks are then ground in our milling machinery to produce a uniform, fine turmeric powder. Grinding parameters are calibrated to protect the natural curcumin content and prevent color degradation from heat exposure during milling. The result is a powder that holds its deep golden-yellow color consistently across batches.
Coriander powder is one of the highest-volume spices used in Indian food manufacturing. It forms the base of most masala blends, curry powders, and spice mixes. Despite being ubiquitous, coriander powder quality varies significantly across suppliers — differences in oil content, grind consistency, aroma strength, and adulteration levels are common. Sri Sharadamba Spices manufactures coriander powder that meets the quality standard that serious blenders and processors actually need.
Raw Material We source coriander seeds from quality-controlled suppliers, selecting for oil content, aroma profile, size uniformity, and freedom from damage or foreign matter. Coriander’s value as a spice powder is directly tied to its essential oil content — seeds with higher oil content produce powder with a stronger, more characteristic aroma. Our sourcing process prioritizes this parameter.
Processing Seeds are cleaned to remove dust, broken seeds, and foreign material. After cleaning, they are lightly roasted or dried depending on the required aroma profile for the buyer’s application. Grinding is done to a consistent fineness using calibrated milling equipment. The powder is tested for color, aroma, moisture, and purity before packaging.
No lot enters our facility without passing visual, moisture, and grade inspection. Substandard material is returned to the supplier.
Before packaging, every batch is tested for its key quality parameters — color value, aroma, purity, and moisture. A batch that fails does not get dispatched.
